About Trisha

My Story:

All through high school and my early college career, I hovered around 155 pounds.  Once I met my husband in 2007 I started to slowly add on weight until I finally weighed in at 188 pounds in 2011.  I knew the scale would continue to creep up until I actually put my foot down and did something about it so I joined Weight Watchers online.  It took me a while to get into the swing of it and to ramp up my self-control, but once I did I immediately saw results.  Then, like most diet and exercise plans, I hit a plateau. That's when I incorporated running and again, began to see my weight go down.
Since then, I have had highs and lows but I currently weigh in at just under 150.  I am still considered overweight for my height and my goal is to get to a healthy BMI (right now that would be 145 pounds or less).

I would never have imagined I'd enjoy running.  I started because I met this gal, Felicia, who was big into running and she wouldn't leave me alone until I tried it.  I am glad I did!  I wouldn't say I am a RUNNER, but I get out there and put one foot in front of the other in what, hopefully, resembles a controlled forward motion.
